The HR Trax Program is accelerated development program that provides two, one-year rotations, in a variety of HR functions. These rotations are thoughtfully designed to provide HR Trax employees with strategic work, exposure to company leadership, and an extended opportunity to partner with the business in Microsoft’s unique culture. As part of Microsoft HR, your work will impact the business directly.

The HR Trax program is designed to provide a custom experience, accelerating your ability to reach your career goals. As an employee in the program, you will have two opportunities in the following areas: HR business partner, compensation & benefits, HR operations, staffing/recruiting, leadership and/or management development, diversity & inclusion, mergers and acquisitions, or program management. Mentoring and feedback are consistently provided throughout your rotations to ensure accelerated development.

HR Trax rotations are primarily at Microsoft’s Corporate Headquarters, which are located in Redmond, WA. There are limited opportunities each year for international rotations. Full-time HR Trax employees will start on June 9th, 2014.

Qualifications include:

  • 2-4 years professional work experience
  • Pursuing MBA or MA in HR-related field

Interview Tips
Be ready to discuss your strengths, expertise and any experience that appears on your resume.

Come prepared with 3 to 5 meaningful questions for your interviewers. Questions demonstrate your understanding, interests and passions. So don't hold back.

Relax and be yourself. It's easier said than done, but we want to meet the real you.
We're interested in how your mind works. Be ready to show your thinking and explain how you came up with a solution to a technical issue, design question, or problem-solving puzzle.
