Technical Program Manager - Yammer

You have scope for high impact, right from contributing to engineering strategy to managing multiple projects through their lifecycle by working with multiple teams inside and outside Microsoft. You will be guiding our engineering choices that impact Yammer today and in the future.

What we are looking for:

- A passion to work in cross functional teams.

- Comfortable driving large projects with dependencies on teams across Microsoft.

- Firm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle with solid project management and communication skills.

- Ability to understand overall system architecture, features and service dependencies.

- Ability to resolve issues with creativity and persistence, creating long term improvement plans where appropriate.

- Ability to communicate effectively to various stakeholders - from presenting strategy to leadership teams, to explaining technical architecture to engineers.

- Tenacity to success regardless of the scope difficulty of the challenge.


- Work closely with Engineering Managers and Tech Leads on projects to ensure successful project delivery.

- Work with engineers on analysis and recommendations for Yammer engineering direction.

- Drive large technical projects.

What you will need:

- Degree in computer science or related field or relevant practical experience.

- 3+ years experience in enterprise level software project life cycle, across geographies and outside immediate team.


- Proven ability to drive engineering strategy.

- Experience in software, systems, networking design and planning.
