This role adds significant value to Microsoft, Partners, and customers by helping partners deliver world class technology solutions to their customers.   A WW Inside Sales OCP Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of Microsoft Partners. As an PDM, you will have the opportunity to drive Partner commitment to Microsoft, reach revenue and pipeline targets as well as deliver a high level of partner satisfaction in a fast paced, highly accountable sales environment.  


Key Responsibilities:


This role will be accountable for delivering comprehensive results across Customer and Partner performance and satisfaction. The role encompasses the following key responsibilities/accountabilities:    

• Lead rhythm of the business (ROB) with partners (revenue pipeline management and business reviews)

• Operationalize partnership (revenue metrics, reporting to-partner and internal targets, end-to-end oversight of daily activities)

• Reach revenue & selected scorecard targets

• Ensure contractual obligations and account commitments are met

• Drive logistics and planning of all events and engagements

• Orchestrate across stakeholders to achieve account plan metrics and partner revenue targets

• Execute Partner to Partner connections to expand sales/marketing/technical capabilities

• Co-create account plans and achieve co-selling deal targets for long-term Microsoft revenue attainment and high partner satisfaction

• Identify and help build Partners to achieve sales targets that results in growth of mutual businesses and profitability. (e.g. New Competency)


Requirements:

• 4 year degree preferred

• 4-6+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success. Familiarity with modern sales techniques and tools is a bonus, including experience from retail sales, corporate internships, or entrepreneurial programs

• Experience working with or selling Azure or similar solutions preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and verbal communications skills. Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via the phone, email, video and presentations

• Desire to work in a competitive environment where one’s growth potential is driven by one’s abilities and attitude

• Ability to identify the key aspects of a cloud consumption growth engagement, nurture the engagement, and manage the customer relationship through success

• General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual products and business solutions quickly and accurately

• Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strategic sales leadership and strong cross business collaboration

• Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications; Dynamics CRM or other CRM experience is a bonus

• Passion for cloud technologies and changing the world
