Our ideal candidate is a self-driven, with strong collaboration and analytical skills and experience in localization and process engineering, with a history of designing, developing, or delivering end-to-end engineering workflows and solutions that meet the challenges of an agile world. 


Brief description of role 

This is a cross-disciplinary role, requiring strong technical acumen, working with different stakeholders across the many Skype development, product teams and international teams on our end to end engineering systems. You will have a particular focus on streamlining localization engineering workflows and find new innovative solutions on localization engineering, enable new customer focused initiatives based on operational data and user telemetry. 


Special Skills / Experience needed 

Strong analytical skills with a track record of building and using data-driven methodologies to achieve business goals. 

3-4 years technical program management/release management, software engineering or similar experience. 

Self-motivated, self-directed and able to influence, lead and motivate others. 

Excellent communication + cross-discipline/cross-team/cross-division collaboration skills. 

Ability to deeply engage with Product and development teams and partner organizations. 

A BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience. 

Experience in Agile development methodologies are preferred. 

Programming skills are preferred.  

Coding skills in C#, C++ or Java, experience in a scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, or Perl and experience in SQL is an advantage
