Principal Program Manager

This role is part of the Membership team driving subscription management across all Microsoft subscriptions: Office, Xbox, Gamepass, etc. You will be responsible for growing the MS subscriptions business and driving revenue and subscriber impact via A/B testing, targeted UX flows/offers through deep partnership with business and marketing teams.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Drive step function growth for subs by identifying new opportunities to increase subscribers and revenue

3. Drive continued experimentation of UX flows to increase user retention and saves

2. Deep analysis of industry best practice and competitive benchmarks spanning from value prop to channel enablement


• 7+ years of PM (or product/project management) experience

• Ability to think strategically and in a structured manner, to solve complex and ambiguous problems

• Test, learn and execute on results

• Strong UX experience

• Analyze key performance indicators and communicate insights to the team to inform decisions

• Excellent communication skills, with ability to develop data driven narratives and land recommendations at a senior executive level across Microsoft

• Ability to successfully resolve ambiguous or potential conflict situations and drive alignment via influence

• Superior project management skills, with experience driving complex, cross functional projects

• Experience in subscriptions business preferred

• BA/BS required, MBA preferred

• Ability to motivate and energize the very best software engineers and designers as well as gaining their respect
