The Insides Sales (IS) organization is a newly formed organization with a charter to accelerate Microsoft’s growth in its cloud-first, mobile-first businesses along with the traditional businesses. This organization is at the forefront of establishing a new sales model leveraging modern technology and big data and analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage.


The Solution Specialist role is focused on working with Microsoft’s account teams to identify and drive opportunities in targeted workloads.   The key goal of this role is to increase incremental sales volume of Microsoft cloud services, through the generation of new opportunities that result in additional customer revenue.   As a Solution Sales Professional, you will work closely with Sellers and Partners to plan and execute account coverage and campaign strategies to unlock new sales opportunities.   The role is adept at understanding the needs and process pains of customers to identify opportunities where Microsoft solutions can add long-term value. You will have the exciting opportunity to be responsible for serving as the cloud computing subject matter expert for customers, fostering a positive and collaborative experience for prospects to evaluate, engage with and implement Microsoft products and partner solutions.

The Dynamics 365 Enterprise Inside Solution Specialist discovers, owns, and closes opportunities utilizing advanced solution-selling skills to drive digital transformation business outcomes for our customers. The focus for this new role is to lead Dynamics sales coverage in the lower-propensity enterprise customer segment and generating net new D365 customer wins via an optimized orchestration of personal engagement and co-selling with D365 specialist partners and Field SSPs.


Responsibilities:

•      Develop and maintain a territory coverage plan with prioritization of accounts leveraging buying propensity models, current customer solution and technology footprint/landscape, customer pains, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

•      Execute relevant D365 sales plays and leverage all local sales promotions and events to maximize identification of net new business with a focus on securing D365 new customers adds

•      Develop deep trusted adviser relationships with Business Decision Makers by actively understanding customer business pains, requirements, strategic growth objectives, industry trends and providing business-value-outcome-based solutions which address customer priorities for digital transformation

•      Forge tight engagement with Field D365 SSM and SSP team to ensure that team sales activities are aligned with clarity around deal ownership, support required and opportunities for greater synergy to find & close more net new D365 business

•      Champion pipeline hygiene by maintaining a rolling pipeline, keeping it current and in accurate stages in our CRM system. Leverage marketing, partners and your relationship network to build pipeline and maintain minimum of 3x coverage for future quarters

•      Develop, drive, manage and lead opportunity execution plans with a diverse pursuit team of experts, SMEs, pre-sales resources and partners geographically dispersed and virtual both internal and external to Microsoft, including our Global Systems Integrator partners

•      Create compelling business value outcome backed proposals, negotiate terms and contracts with successful close.


Requirements:

•      6+ years experience of solution sales with CRM, ERP, or similar business applications

•      Selling software-as-a-service or cloud-based business applications to enterprise customers.

•      Identifying unique and complex business challenges and solutions

•      Driving and leading sales processes across account planning, opportunity planning, deal negotiation, customer decision frameworks, evaluation plans and engaging in sophisticated business case discussions.

•      Carrying and exceeding sales quotas by driving and closing enterprise deals

•      Demonstrated passion and commitment for customer success

•      Must be able to legally live and work in the country for which you are applying, without visa support or sponsors.
