Executive Administrator

Microsoft Advertising has a charter to re-imagine Advertising across Microsoft, as well as for the industry. This happens not just through continuing to monetize Microsoft’s existing and emerging products, devices, and services, but by providing innovative solutions across our product portfolio for our partners and customers. MSA has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Administrator in the MSA Global Operations team, supporting the General Manager and managing administrative responsibilities across the team.  

Primary Responsibilities:

-      Proactively manage the calendar of the General Manager, including scheduling with other Microsoft executives and external partners.

-      Develop time management best practices to help General Manager meet business objectives

-      Travel arrangements and expense reporting for General Manager

-      Be attentive to travel details to insure efficient use of General Manager’s time

-      Morale and team offsite event planning and execution.

-      Create/enhance team culture within and across global teams.  

-      Pro-actively participate as a member of the Operations leadership team.

-      Provide administrative support to include onboarding of new employees, equipment procurement and management, space allocation and moves, budget management, alias maintenance, and headcount.

-      Work with team members and partners across the globe.

-      Ongoing management and verification of current team data in Microsoft tools.    


-      The successful candidate will have a strong administrative skill profile exhibiting high attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, professionalism, creative problem solving and decision making, time management abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.  

-      Willingness and desire to learn the basics of the search advertising business

-      Ability to balance delivery of on-going priorities with unanticipated, time sensitive tasks is a priority.  

-      Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, maintain confidentiality and be an effective team player.

-      Ability to work independently while being proactive and changing direction in response to a fluctuating work environment.   - Be extremely resourceful and use good judgment in resolving issues  

-      Prior experience using Microsoft internal systems, tools, and data analysis skills are a strong plus

-      4+ years of experience in an administrative or support role.
