Senior Compliance Program Manager

Office 365 TRUST team is an engineering based team whose charter is to provide guidance to engineering teams such that engineering have the information and details they need to design, build, deploy and operate Office 365 services in accordance with worldwide industry standards and regulations. We strive to enable teams are not only able to be creative in their solutions but that they understand and maintain the numerous contractual commitments, regulatory requirements and security & privacy principles we depend on to ensure our customer continue to trust us with their data.


The Office 365 TRUST team is looking for an articulate PM to help drive our program expansion and help scale our reach as Office 365 continues to grow at exponential rates. We are looking for a PM to analyze our internal processes and help work through issues that impact our ability to scale both out and up as we look to take on not only more services as part of O365, but also providing an intelligence platform for many teams around the company. The candidate will also be involved with the tactical side of our privacy program, helping us scale out to meet the growing company wide focus on things like GDPR and other corporate privacy initiatives.


Responsibilities:


•      Partner with the various members of the trust leadership team to listen, learn and document new ways to address key scenarios that might be getting in the way of executing at larger and larger scale points

•      Document key processes and procedures such that they can be used to provide a greater self-serve foundational basis as part of engineering teams ongoing engineering lifecycle

•      Work with the Office 365 privacy team to help with running key education and tactical initiatives simultaneously across multiple engineering teams

•      Provide a point of contact for taking in feedback from engineering teams as to ways to improve the programs, guidance and resources coming from the TRUST team


Basic Qualifications:


•      5+ years of Program Manager experience in the Governance Risk & Compliance arena


Preferred Qualifications:


•      4-year degree in computer science or closely related discipline or equivalent experience

•      IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

•      Solid understanding of enterprise compliance requirements, privacy policy & risk and regulatory landscape

•      Demonstrated experience applying policy-based initiatives to engineering solutions

•      Experience with cloud computing, online services, enterprise software development, engineering and/or operations at scale

•      Strong cross-group collaboration skills

•      Strong written and communication skills

•      Attention to detail

•      Excellent project management skill enabling the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

•      Self-motivated and self-starter that sees a need or opportunity in front of them and able to reach out and take it on

•      Enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-driven, self-motivated, and resourceful
