The Cloud Account Delivery Executive (C-ADE) is responsible for the overall customer cloud experience of Services accounts. As customers embark on business transformations utilizing Microsoft’s cloud technologies identifying customer needs aligning with their cloud strategy and establishing program governance is critical in the delivery of services and exceeding their expectations. The Cloud ADE is responsible for developing strong customer relationships with key contacts including C level executives to help drive the adoption and change associated with large transformative cloud implementations.


Additionally, the C-ADE manages a virtual team of delivery resources (Consulting and Premier) and oversees monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure a healthy and growing business within assigned accounts. Embodying the One Microsoft spirit, the C-ADE teams with Sales, Operations and Resource Management roles to execute a winning strategy with positive outcomes for customers, partners, our employees and our business.


The C-ADE:


- Recommends, delivers and supports technologies and services that meet current customer needs, and evolves strategies to adapt to future needs.

- Is accountable for an end to end delivery strategy that drives high usage of cloud services within assigned customers through the creation and execution of a thorough and action-oriented adoption plan Proactively identifies new cloud workloads and expansion opportunities in assigned accounts Leads conversations with senior customer contacts to optimize business outcomes for the customer and Microsoft.

- Builds, maintains and leverages strong relationships with Business Decision Makers and IT Decision Makers within each customer to influence the strategy and adoption of cloud services Engages subject matter experts as needed to drive usage and help accelerate customer value for cloud workloads

- Develops strong, positive cross organization relationships with internal groups to include industry units, account teams, and product groups, as well as with external partners and customers

- Develops trusted relationships at the highest levels of the customer organization Acts as a role model and encourages continuous personnel and organizational improvement.


The successful ADE’s focus areas will include effective leadership skills in a matrix organization, virtual team management, operational control (operating and budgeted expense), resource allocation (headcount and staffing plans), complex deal structuring and review and overall delivery project management. He/she will need to lead and motivate others through strong leadership, have a high level of selling and customer/partner service skills and can think strategically.


A successful C-ADE will have proven experience in running governance of complex deployment and usage projects within large organizations. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as have the ability to interface effectively with employees and customers at all organizational levels.


Basic Qualifications:


• BS, BA or Masters degree

• 8+ years of related experience Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise, Project/Program Management


Willing to travel 60-75% as required Location:

The ideal candidate will reside in the Central United States. US Residents only - no relocation available. Regular (60% to 75%) travel is required to customers across the Central and Eastern United States.   Comments: Location: Central US
