Dynamics AX – Junior Program Manager with main focus in the Supply Chain Management & Distribution area

We are looking for a new colleague who will join our Supply Chain Management & distribution team and help design, build and release new and enhanced inventory and distribution functionality in Dynamics AX. We have an ambitious growth plan driving numerous investments in many of our development teams. Over the coming releases we will have major investments for enhancing our inventory and distribution functionality and are looking for a Program Manager to help drive key feature design and development.
Throughout your education and work experience, you have gained an understanding of Supply Chain Management and ERP solutions. You understand how business processes and, in particular, how SCM processes work. Optimally, you have worked on SCM and distribution processes.
You are a driver and have a very strong analytical ability. You are able to convert market requirements to specifications of features that can be implemented. At the same time you are able to take decisions and lead feature development from start to end of the development cycle by bringing clarity into complex tasks and handling many tasks at the same time without stalling. You thrive in uncertainty and you love juggling multiple projects at the same time, you are able to prioritize work for yourself and your team members. You should have strong project management ability and should be able lead directly or indirectly internal and vendor teams from design to final delivery.
Excellent communication and cross team collaboration skills are prerequisites for having success on our development teams.
To be able to facilitate communication between program managers, developers and testers, you have basic to intermediate coding skills. You might understand data modelling and architectural overview and are ideally experienced with the Microsoft stack on a technical and usage level.
We would expect you to have 1-3 years of relevant professional experience along with a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree.

Being a Program Manager is a high-visibility key position in the Dynamics AX R&D team that is focused on defining product direction as well as driving product lifecycle engineering solutions that delight partners and customers.
Your main responsibilities within the Supply Chain Management team are:
• Being a key driver in building Dynamics AX SCM product strategy within your area
• Partner identification and collaboration for building future features within the SCM and distribution area
• Gathering feature requests from other teams, partners and customers
• Writing detailed specifications and communicating these to stakeholders and gain acceptance for scope
• Drive feature development throughout release lifecycle together with PM’s, Engineers and other dependent teams
• Drive and perform customer and partner product presentations
