Software Engineer II

Responsibilities:

As a developer in our team, you will work with our partners to build highly scalable and performant software that forms the building block for the next generation of private cloud datacenters.

In the High Availability and Storage team, your work will have broad impact across multiple products including very large private cloud datacenters and Microsoft Azure. You will work on challenging problems in the areas of distributed systems, scale, performance optimization, and help us contribute to Microsoft’s next generation hybrid cloud storage platform. Breadth of technology, depth, user mode, kernel mode, front end, services, you name it, nothing is off limits here.


Basic Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent experience developing software in C++ and/or C# or equivalent programming languages and framework.

• BS/MS degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.


Preferred Qualification

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem solving and design skills.
