If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Principal Product Manager</strong> to join the <strong>Copilot Product Team at Microsoft AI China</strong>. This role is at the intersection of AI, growth, and consumer experience—where you will drive strategies to <strong>accelerate adoption, increase engagement, and maximize user retention</strong>. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.</p></div><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><div dir="ltr"><ul><li><strong>Define and execute growth strategies</strong> to drive key business metrics, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and retention.</li><li><strong>Stay ahead of AI and growth industry trends</strong>, identifying innovative tactics to drive Copilot’s market expansion.</li><li><strong>Lead A/B testing, rapid experimentation, and data-driven decision-making</strong> to optimize conversion rates and user experience.</li><li><strong>Identify and build scalable growth loops</strong>, including referral programs, social sharing, SEO/ASO optimization, and cross-platform integrations.</li><li><strong>Develop and refine onboarding experiences</strong> to improve first-time user activation and reduce churn.</li><li><strong>Collaborate with cross-functional teams</strong> (engineering, design, marketing, and data science) to develop and implement high-impact growth features.</li><li><strong>Leverage AI-driven personalization and recommendation models</strong> to enhance user engagement and long-term retention.</li><li><strong>Optimize growth funnels using advanced analytics</strong>, ensuring a seamless user journey across mobile, web, and integrated ecosystems.</li><li><strong>Monitor KPIs and identify areas for optimization</strong>, providing clear insights to leadership and making data-backed recommendations.</li></ul></div><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><div dir="ltr"><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development<ul><li>OR equivalent experience. </li></ul></li><li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in product management, with a strong focus on <strong>AI</strong>, <strong>growth, user acquisition, or engagement optimization</strong>.</li><li><strong>Proven track record in scaling consumer products</strong>, driving significant user and revenue growth.</li><li>Solid expertise in <strong>growth frameworks</strong>, including <strong>AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue)</strong> and <strong>growth loops</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>A/B testing, experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, LaunchDarkly), and funnel optimization</strong>.</li><li>Deep proficiency in <strong>data-driven decision-making</strong>, with experience in <strong>SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics</strong>, or similar analytics tools.</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>SEO, ASO, performance marketing, and viral growth strategies</strong>.</li><li>Experience working on <strong>AI-powered consumer products</strong>, particularly in personalization and user engagement.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across executives and cross-functional teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><div dir="ltr"><ul><li><strong>Rich experience in mobile and web growth strategies</strong>, including <strong>iOS/Android app optimization</strong>.</li><li>Experience in <strong>monetization strategies</strong>, including freemium models, subscriptions, and paywalls.</li><li>Prior experience leading <strong>growth product teams</strong> or mentoring junior product managers.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>machine learning-driven growth tactics</strong>, such as recommendation systems and churn prediction models.</li><li>Passion for defining and analyzing <strong>growth experiments and behavioral analytics</strong>.</li></ul></div></div> <br><p>This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.</p><br><hr><br><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
