In this session, you will hear how Microsoft has leveraged “hacking” (that is, working on a new idea or improving a product or process) as a means to cultivate a mindset of innovation, creativity, and growth for employees. You will hear from Susie Kandzor, Director on The Garage team, about how they developed the Microsoft Global Hackathon and other programs – and what they learned along the way. This presentation and Q&A will cover an overview of the Hackathon, how hacking is evolving our business culture, the competencies and benefits of a hacking culture, and some of the nuts-and-bolts of how we support hacking across a global and diverse environment.
