Overview
Do you want to help one billion people re-imagine what they should expect from software? The world is changing at an incredible pace, and technology can enable people to be more creative, productive, connected and secure than ever before. In the current global economic context, consumers and business owners need these capabilities more than ever – but they also have less time than ever to learn how software has evolved and how they should optimally use it. The User Lifecycle team is part of the worldwide multi-billion-dollar Microsoft 365 business. The team is at the core of transforming how a billion customers redefine expectations of productivity software, and how they get started using our modern apps and services.
We are looking for a well-rounded UX and Visual designer who can focus on Privacy experiences and M365 consumer experiences. We employ user scenarios to create meaningful experiences that bind the suite of products and value together. Our team uses deep customer research and understanding users’ needs, emotions, and behaviors to gather insights to inform our experience design strategy. Through research and experimentation, we build experiences focused on building a relationship that is meaningful, relatable, and impactful. We span each phase of the enterprise, small business and consumer user lifecycle from showing value and acquiring customers, onboarding and setup through to creating moments at the right time to encourage and promote engagement.
You demonstrate solid UX skills and interaction patterns as well as being able to bring the experiences alive with modern visuals. Being hands on, you will support and design breakthrough experiences that impact how millions of people use our products and services from day 1 through to advanced users in our system – free and paid. You will work closely with research, PM and dev as well as product marketing and app partners to meticulously execute ideas into production.
Please include URLs for an online portfolio demonstrating design process, UX flows, interaction patterns and visual design skills in addition to resume.
