Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is a fast-growing Engineering team of customer obsessed & passionate individuals that drive positive customer outcomes and experiences. FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a customer success service to help customers confidently onboard to Azure and getting them on the right track to “build it right, architect it right, the first time”. FTA takes a solution-centric approach and provides customers with Engineering resources, best practices, tools, and resources that drive Azure usage.

- Leading technical conversations, bringing in & leveraging relevant technical expertise from other teams
- Working with enterprise customers on cloud specific data solutions, application development & deployment
Technical Experience
- An understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as Governance, Security & Monitoring.
- Experience architecting new and refactoring existing applications to utilise Azure components.
- Practical hands on experience in Migrating applications from on-prem.
- Experience with and ability to lead customers with one or more of the following:
- Azure DC Migration
- Azure Networking (Virtual Networks, Route Server, Expressroute, etc.)
- Azure Fundamentals (Security, Resiliency, Business Continuity, and Management)
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Integration using Azure Integration services (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Aps, Event Grid etc)
- Azure Sentinel
- OSS on Azure
- Azure VMware Solution
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
As an Customer Engineer Manager, you will primarily be modelling desired behaviour, coaching for growth and providing care and support for your team. In this role you will be the internal face for FastTrack for Azure - Infra within APAC.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Lead a diverse team across Asia
- Create an inclusive work environment where every employee can effectively engage, and wants to be part of the team driving customer success
- Provide ongoing feedback that helps your direct reports improve their performance, develop skills and support their career aspirations as well as improve the overall program’s performance
- Coach and mentor others in planning, organising and coordinating work
- As a player, contribute customer technical deliveries and the creation and expansion of content
- Work closely with other FTA Engineering Leads in addressing customer solution needs and driving success with their Azure deployments
- Identify opportunities where we can do better for our customers (process, tools, technology) to increase FTA’s overall impact
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, sales, services and partner teams
- Evangelise and teach others to reach beyond existing solutions and technologies to incorporate new ideas
- Work closely with FTA engineers in addressing customer solution needs and driving success with their Azure deployments
