Apprenticeship

Our exciting Apprenticeship is for people aged 16+ years old and gives you the opportunity to start your career earlier than most.

As a Microsoft Apprentice you have the opportunity to start your career early. Earn while you learn and gain valuable experience. Whatever your interests, there’s a role for you.

Because we offer full training while you work and, of course, a competitive salary, an Apprenticeship is a genuine alternative to university, helping you to get ahead in a working environment.

In addition to receiving great experience and guidance from the start, you can also avoid expensive tuition fees and start earning and learning faster than traditional education. Just imagine what you could have achieved at Microsoft in the time it takes you to complete a university degree.

We don’t believe in the traditional notion of “work experience” either. At Microsoft you are given real responsibility from the outset, with an employment contract for the full duration of your Apprenticeship and funded training relevant to your role. When you complete your Apprenticeship, you’ll receive a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification and support try to help you continue your career at Microsoft. Our Apprentices are part of a community in which they will receive support and partake in community events throughout their apprenticeship.

Whatever you’re good at, whatever your interests, we hire for both technical and business-related roles, so there’s something for everyone regardless of the subjects you have studied. And we’re sure that, once you’ve experienced such a unique working environment and developed within the company, you’ll want to remain part of the family.
