Interns base pay ranges and additional pay information

Compensation opportunity at Microsoft

For intern, student and apprentice roles at Microsoft, base pay depends on the complexity and responsibility of the role.

Certain roles are eligible for annual rewards*. Annual Rewards are one way that we recognize impact. At the end of each fiscal year, you may be eligible for merit increase and an annual bonus based on your start date, your performance in the fiscal year, and company eligibility rules. You may also be eligible for future awards under the Stock Award Program offered by Microsoft Corporation, at its discretion.  In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Annual bonuses, stock awards, and sales incentives are determined by role and/or level and cannot be adjusted during the hiring process, as this approach reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable pay.

Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the work location.
