Role Title: University Interns

Candidate Eligibility: Candidate must be enrolled in a full time bachelor's, masters, MBA, or PhD program in area relevant for the role during the academic term immediately before their internship. 

Program Rules: Candidate must be returning to school for 1 full academic term post internship.

Candidate can not complete 2 back to back internships with Microsoft.

Candidate can not be taking classes while interning with Microsoft.

Candidate must be at least 16 years of age.

Role Title: Explore program participants

Candidate Eligibility: Candidate must be a 1st or 2nd year full time enrolled bachelor student (Freshmen/Sophomore) during the academic term immediately before their internship. 

Program Rules: Candidate must be returning to school for 1 full academic term post internship.

Candidate cannot complete 2 back to back internships with Microsoft.

Candidate cannot be taking classes while interning with Microsoft.

Candidate must be at least 16 years of age.

Role Title: Discovery program participants

Candidate Eligibility: Candidates must have an intended high school graduation date before the internship begins and live within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington or attend high school in the Atlanta area.  

Program Rules: For Redmond, eligibility includes members of Microsoft-sponsored organizations; for Atlanta, applicants must attend schools in participating districts—see our FAQs for full details. 

Completed pre-calculus or an equivalent course by the start of the program.

Candidate Eligibility: Candidates must be in thier pre-final year of graduation, enrolled in a BA/MA/PhD/Management program in STEM or in area relevant for the role.

Candidate Eligibility: Must be enrolled in final year of Batchelors degree or a Masters or within 12 months of university graduation specializing in a STEM degree.

Program Rules: Full time and part time schedules are available for internship. Candidates are eligible to choose.

You must have the right to work in the country of application, as no visas will be sponsored for interns.

Please note: international non UE citizens might have work limitations while studying.
