The High School Internship is open to current senior high school students that live within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington who have a demonstrated interest in technology. Students must be at least 16 years old and have a legal right to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship. Applicants should be available to work full-time for 10 consecutive weeks (June 22nd - August 28th, 2020).
Summer high school internship
This paid 10-week summer program offers an exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with software engineering teams on real Microsoft technical projects. Get valuable experience, contribute to meaningful work, and receive support from a mentor (eligible only for students in Western Washington).
Minecraft programming and digital art camp
Minecraft has an exciting 6-week internship opportunity for high school junior and senior students interested in Programming and/or Digital Art. Programming Interns will work on the Minecraft Engineering Team, helping with feature development on Minecraft, using Visual Studio, GitHub, and Minecraft Bedrock Engine, and will participate in the annual Minecraft Game Jam. Digital Art Interns will work on the Minecraft Art Team learning about various aspects of content creation and visual development.
