    Discovery Program

    The Discovery Program is a unique opportunity for students who are passionate about technology and want to make a positive impact on the world and society. This four-week internship is open to rising first-year students college students, based in Redmond, Washington or Atlanta, Georgia. Participants will work on a real project, learn from Microsoft employees and mentors, and explore different career paths in tech. Applications will be open in March 2024.

  • Consultants are strategists who work closely with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services and products in diverse client environments.  

     

    As a consultant or services professional intern, you will be a strategic advisor to Microsoft’s enterprise customers and partners helping them optimize their business performance and be on the front line dedicated to solving their technical challenges. You will possess a solid understanding of your customer’s business, industry and needs as cloud and emerging technologies enable digital transformation opportunities for their organizations.  You will be responsible for delivering solutions to enable the customer’s desired outcomes, working closely with other teams.  

     

    Intern Roles: Technology Consulting, Consulting Project Management 

  • Cloud Solution Architects drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft in-field strategic accounts segment of our business. They own the technical relationship between a customer and Microsoft Azure Applications Development Platform.  

     

    As a Cloud Solution Architect, you provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products and assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.     

     

    Intern Roles: Cloud Solutions Architecture, Customer Success Management 

  • The US finance internship is a 12-week program where interns will join a team within the finance organization and get a glimpse of what a future rotation would look like in the full-time program. Interns may select rotations from one of 40+ hosting teams and will participate in a team-based case study called the Intern Challenge.

     

    Interns will receive mentorship throughout the program and will be invited to attend fun events with the FRP community (like a sunset boat cruise or professional soccer game).

     

    Upon completion of the program, interns will be considered for the Finance Rotation Program at Microsoft, with the internship considered the main pipeline to the full-time program.

     

    Intern Roles: Finance Analyst

    Accelerated Connections and Experiences Rotation Program (ACE) is our marketing rotation program that begins with an internship in one of the roles outlined below, and assuming you return full-time, continues with 2 distinct, 1-year rotations in different marketing roles at Microsoft. 

     

    Intern Roles: Product Marketing Management, Marketing Communications Management, Partner/Channel Marketing Management 

  • We offer both Business Program Management and Business Operations Program Management opportunities that fall under this Profession at Microsoft. These opportunities are offered throughout a number of different business groups at Microsoft, both in Engineering and Business functions.  When you join as a Business Operations Program Manager you will help plan, design, implement, and optimize predictable and measurable solutions that fulfill product and service sales.    

     

    As a Business Program Manager, you will be working with a variety of stakeholders from across the company to craft, analyze, orchestrate, and improve various programs and processes at the strategic level.  Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.  

     

    Intern Roles: Business Operations Program Management, Business Program Management

  • Overview: As a member of the sales team, you are a trusted consultant for helping our customers and partners identify and apply Microsoft solutions to help them be a part of the digital transformation. Our Sales team drives value for customer’s businesses by addressing pain points and opportunities and providing strategic business leadership and consultation. 

     

    Full-time Roles: Solution Area Specialist, Commercial Sales, Channel Sales 

  • Data is integral to how we run our business at Microsoft, and data scientists within Microsoft work on a wide range of applications across many product areas (such as Windows, Xbox, and Office, among others), cloud systems, operations, and many more. We hire data science candidates with a desire to build products and make tangible business impact with data by applying statistics, Machine Learning (ML), experimentation, and many other related techniques.

  • As a Hardware Engineering intern you’ll be working with progressive, motivated, diverse, and exceptionally creative people to design and manufacture some of the most popular entertainment and PC peripheral devices in the world. We have jobs in a wide range of areas, from product architecture through implementation, verification, and manufacturing. These opportunities represent a variety of disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, optical, silicon and low-level software for Hardware engineering. Our teams incubate advanced technologies, including new PC form factors, input devices, and hand-held consumer devices, and build deep partnerships with Microsoft Research, Product Planning and Marketing.
