SCORE (Supply Chain Operations Rotation Experience) is the rotation program for university hires entering Microsoft’s Cloud Supply Chain organization.
SCORE is a three-year career experience designed to provide emerging talent with an unparalleled journey through end-to-end cloud supply chain operations. Over three one-year rotations, participants will partner with and learn from our teams while building skills and supply chain acumen to accelerate their career growth. During this experience, participants can expect:
- Meaningful roles in supply chain operations, planning and other critical parts of the business
- A robust support network of leaders, managers, mentors and dedicated SCORE Program Managers
- Targeted learning and developmental opportunities throughout the three-year journey including Lean Six Sigma belt certifications
- Networking opportunities, volunteering, and community engagement
- End-to-end cloud supply chain operations visibility and dedicated time with leadership
The SCORE program is also offered in our India Center of Excellence.

Microsoft Cloud Supply Chain Internship
The US Cloud Supply Chain Internship is a 12-week program exclusively for students enrolled full-time at a college or university. As a Supply Chain Planner intern, you'll become part of a team within the Cloud Supply Chain organization, gaining insight into a future career at Microsoft. Throughout the program, interns can look forward to:
- Opportunities across all Supply Chain operations groups
- Attending LEAN training and receiving your White Belt certification
- Dedicated time with leadership
- An annual Intern Project Fair to showcase your work
- Training sessions and networking opportunities
- A primary pathway into the full-time SCORE rotation program
The Cloud Supply Chain Internship is also offered in our India Center of Excellence for an 8-week experience and in Taiwan for a 12-week experience.

Who should apply?
We are looking for bachelor’s students and new grads who resonate with Microsoft’s mission and are excited and passionate about a career in Supply Chain. Here are some preferred skills and qualifications for both the internship and full-time program:
- One or more internship experiences in a supply chain-related role
- Familiarity with key supply chain concepts
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for analyzing data to convey insights
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with excellent communication skills
